Meet Nicole
A licensed psychotherapist with a certification in Nature-Informed Therapy based in Maryland.
My path into this work hasn’t been a straight line. It has been shaped by my first career as a licensed cosmetologist, my years working in crisis response, and my own commitment to holistic healing.
While working in an organic salon for eight years, I discovered my passion for supporting people in ways that went beyond the surface. That experience, combined with my curiosity about the deep connection between mind and body, ultimately led me into psychotherapy.
I hold advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Brainspotting, Grief work, Neurodivergence, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD. I’m also IFS- and somatic-informed, always seeking ways to integrate new approaches that honor the whole person. In addition to private practice, I’m a Board-Approved Supervisor and spent more than five years with Anne Arundel County Crisis Response System, where I supported individuals in moments of acute need, whether around substance abuse or navigating intense mental health crises.
My philosophy as a therapist is rooted in authenticity, presence, and compassion. I believe therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It is about being true to yourself. Together, we will explore what matters most to you, reconnecting with your values and living your life accordingly. My style is direct and honest, but always warm. I approach each session as a fellow human first, and a therapist second by creating space for you to be seen, validated, and supported as you practice self-compassion.
While important, I believe psychotherapy is only one part of the complex healing process. As the human mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected, I encourage clients to explore complementary practices such as yoga, nutrition, acupuncture, and mindfulness. Healing is deeply personal and deserves to be treated with care.
One of the unique aspects of my work is the integration of nature. For many clients, therapy doesn’t have to be confined to four walls. In addition to seeing clients in my office or virtually I offer sessions outdoors, walking and talking along local Maryland trails. Being in nature has a way of grounding us, shifting perspective, and reminding us of our place in something larger. No matter the setting, my focus remains the same: helping you reconnect with yourself, lean into your strengths, and cultivate a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
Nicole holds a clinical license in Maryland & New Jersey, as well as a telehealth license in Florida
